About the Author

Devin is a student of US foreign and national security policy, international conflict and security, the US-China relationship and Chinese foreign policy. He was educated at the University of Maryland and (after a manner of speaking) Peking University. He was born and raised in New York with a detour to New Orleans, and he lives in Maryland’s DC suburbs with his family.

Devin is a passionate amateur historian and cook. He is devoted to music and books and is an avid – but penniless – oenophile. In his free time he plays golf (poorly), state politics (well), and with his daughter.
